The simplest way I started to live a better life

The simplest way to live a better life is to eliminate things that are causing you harm – mentally or physically.

When making a change, my first instinct is to think about the new things I’ll do and implement, but the most growth happens from omission.

Getting rid of alcohol was the first but step, now I’m trying to eliminate more poor habits and ways of thinking/living. Simple, but not easy.

I usually first add more to cover up for my inability to eliminate something I know is wrong.

I didn’t want to cut out shitty food, so I spent hours on a stair master. Hating every minute of it. Not a great way to live.

I didn’t want to stop drinking, so I spent hours journaling or putting in some random self help practice. Getting absolutely no where.

No alcohol. No drama. No sugar. No social media. Whatever it is, work on getting rid of that first.
