Time

In a world is instant access, connection, and delivery, we forget that certain things take time.

We rush, not soaking in the moment in front of us – which is all we have and all we’re guaranteed.

We get upset when things take time, so we either quit all together or jump to something new.

We idolize the things that take time, but are too impatient to create them ourselves.

We idolize the married couple of 40 years, but we can’t spend one day without feeling a sense of rom com romance before we hop over to the next person.

We idolize a strong and fit body, but we can consistently eat well and stay active before getting bored and telling ourselves “it’ll never work.”

In this world where everyone is selling you the dream of “get what you want at the snap of a finger,” be the one sitting there idly, being patient, working on what you want out of life.

Because although others might hop around to new locations, people, jobs, and dreams for immediate pleasure, you’ll be the one to achieve those things and gain fulfillment.
