Writing

It always surprises me what writing down my thoughts and goals does for my mental.

When life seems chaotic, I learn two things from writing:

  1. I’m doing WAY too much and need to adjust where I’m spending my time.
  2. (and happens 99% of the time) I realize the jumbled mess in my head is actually much more simple and less time consuming than I am building in my head.

When I keep my thoughts as thoughts, they become stories and usually stressful and untrue.

When I write, they are just facts and (usually dramatic) opinions that I can reflect on and laugh at.
